Fuel for Thought Renee McGregor cover 9781839812378

So, you lot get to live my last year this year, as all the books I was testing (some rude people called it skiving), over the last twelve months, will be published this year. Here is a roundup

 of the first few …

First up and already in the warehouse is Renee McGregor’s Fuel for Thought. This is the follow up to her More Fuel You book. Whereas the first book was an overview of athlete/outdoorsy nutrition, this is very much a what-you-need-to-do-and-how-to-do-it book. As anyone who has spoken to me about Renee’s expertise will know, I am a massive fan of her work and entirely credit her with the health and fitness I suddenly found last year.

Fuel for Thought, is available now.

Also just in the warehouse, we have The Dirt Directory, a guide to the UK’s trail centres and bike parks and a must-have summer book for all those mountain bikers out there.

The Dirt Directory, orders despatched from Friday 7 February.

As we get further into the spring, we have two more Mountain Walks books to Helvellyn and Scafell, a new

gravel guidebook to the Cairngorms, a guidebook to the circuits of Fontainebleau and … and … a little project we’re calling Extreme Rock.

Walk Britain from Elise Downing promises to be our bestselling book of the spring if early interest is anything to go by. It features walks throughout the UK – all accessible via public transport. I’ve slowly been ticking them off and a lot of fun I’ve had. I must confess, I ran the odd one. Notwithstanding a few photos of me in the book, I can thoroughly recommend it. I do believe all orders before the publication date will be signed.
