Where can Scotland's snow patches be found?

The effects of climate change has brought about a growing interest in Scotland's snow patches over recent years. Earlier this month three consecutive days of wintery showers brought a fresh smattering of snow to the Highlands. This is very unusual for June, having only occurred a handful of times in the last thirty years. Iain Cameron, the UK's foremost authority on the subject, reported that the record for fresh snow is nine days, occurring in 1977 and 2012.
